In a recent post, I mentioned how to care for your lashes and it just got a bit easier! We couldn’t be more excited to announce the latest addition to our product line. We have officially launched a Deka Lash Eye Makeup Remover & Facial Cleanser and it can be found in your location soon. So what is this cleanser? We worked with a lab to create a specially formulated cleanser that will help you to maintain those beautiful eyelash extensions. The cleanser is a mild formula and will gently remove eye makeup, without breaking down the eyelash adhesive that is used by your Deka Lash lash artist.

However, we didn’t just want the formula to be a makeup cleanser, we wanted it to serve another role. Realizing the skin around the eye is ten times thinner than the skin on the face, we wanted the cleanser to also moisturize. So we added humectants and emollients to the cleanser, hume what? Emollie what? Emollients are found in many skin and beauty applications and help to keep the skin moist and supple by providing a protective film. For someone who has eczema or psoriasis, emollients are an essential part of their daily skin care regimen. The role of the humectant is to enhance the surface of the skin’s capacity to hold water, which keeps the skin looking younger.
So how do you use it? You will only need a small amount (dime size) and like I already said, it can be used for makeup removal and/or facial cleansing. Keep in mind, you never want to scrub around your eyes, but instead use a micro-swab and go over your lash line. Simple right? We are so excited about the cleanser and we know you will too!
