This was my first time getting eyelash extensions. Allison was wonderful and very kind because I was had some anxiety. Everything was explained before, during and after. She made sure I was comfortable at all stages of the process.

First and foremost, Monica gets 5 stars for everything - professionalism, kindness, knowledge, and she's very good at what she does. That being said, she is the ONLY person to see in Washington. She put a full set of True Express on a couple of months ago and they were excellent. I loved them. I took a break and when I was ready for another full set, I saw someone else in the salon due to schedule conflicts with Monica.The experience was awful. My appointment started 41 minutes late, the artist never spoke to me (but did to others in the salon), it took 90 minutes for the set, she clearly struggled to divide my lashes and pick up new ones, and she did not listen to Monica's clear instructions about check out OR even which lashes to use. The worst part is - even after spending extra time with me, my lashes look awful. It looks like I already need a fill. I was not happy when I left. I have attached a photo below showing my lashes the first time I got a full set and what happened this time. My concerns here are:1. This completely discredits Deka's consistency.2. Anyone who wears lashes is a walking billboard for Deka. When I say 'I just got these put on' they certainly are not going to be sold on Deka. This is hurting the business model.I used to be proud of my lashes. Now I'm on day 2 and can't wait to get them filled.If you book at this Deka, only see Monica until they are able to properly train a new lash artist.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! I have always had a great & pleasant experience there at the Washington location. My lash girl is Monica, who is extremely skilled, knowledgeable & professional. She always goes above & beyond to make sure I’m happy & looking my best! She knows her product well & customers even better.I have piece of mind knowing that if something would happen within the first few days of my fill, my lashes would be fixed for me! That is a huge plus. The actual store is very clean, tidy & organized which, for me, is a must! I would never trust anyone else to work with my lashes.

Emily did lash extensions on me. It was my first experience and Emily made it positive! It was a relaxing time, 2 hours in an extremely comfortable contoured chaise lounge with my eyes closed!
