I was invited to a black-​tie charity event. Already possessing a fetching black ball gown, I thought I was sufficiently prepared. A close friend, however, said I just MUST get eyelash extensions for that “little extra pizzazz.” Always on the lookout for such extra pizzazz, I began my online research and found DekaLash in Wexford. After glancing at the stunning models on their website, and their equally stunning lashes, I was hooked. Mostly excited, and a wee bit anxious, I made my appointment. The black tie-​affair was great! Next time I go to DekaLash, I will definitely be choosing “Fierce Drama.”

Deka Lash to open its first Tampa-area eyelash studio in Brandon

Deka Lash, a Pennsylvania-based eyelash company founded in 2011, has chosen Brandon to open its first Tampa-area location and will open Feb. 18 and celebrate with a grand opening event at noon on Feb. 19. The studio, located at 1935 West Lumsden Rd. in the Brandon Centre South near Aldi’s Supermarket, provides semi-permanent eyelash extensions.
