What is are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are applied to your natural lashes to enhance the appearance of eyelash length, curl, and density. Lightweight and made from a high-quality synthetic blend, our lash extensions are either one singular lash or a fan of lashes. Both types come in a variety of lengths, and curls. A fan consists of multiple lashes that share the same base. As with a singular lash extension, one fan is applied to one natural lash to create a rich and full lash line.
How do I know which lash extension style will look best on my eyes?
Our lash looks are designed for everyone regardless of your eye shape, face shape, or eye color.
Our Lash Artists are the experts. At the start of each appointment, they’re there to guide you through all your questions, understand what look you’re trying to achieve, and will give their best recommendation for which service and style fits your need.
Are lash extensions safe?
Of course! The safety of your natural lashes is our top priority. To help ensure the safety of your natural lashes and your entire eye area, all our Lash Artists must complete a comprehensive training and certification process. During the consultation before your appointment, your Lash Artist will talk with you about what look you want and what, if any, your concerns are. Your Lash Artist may recommend a different lash length or style based on the condition of your natural lashes.
Additionally, if you have concerns about adhesives, you may always request an adhesive test to see how your skin reacts. We have sensitive and super sensitive adhesive to help those with more sensitive skin.
Do lash extensions damage your natural lashes?
Absolutely not. When applied correctly, lash extensions grow out with your natural lashes. It’s important to understand that our natural lashes shed on a daily basis – typically 1-3 lashes per day. This shedding process is completely normal and is why regular refills are crucial. During your refill appointment, our skilled Lash Artists will gently remove any grown-out extensions and replace them with fresh ones, ensuring your lashes look flawless and healthy.
How do I take care of my lash extensions after my appointment?
The do’s and don’ts are simple. The bond requires time to adhere fully–so avoid moisture, extreme heat, sweat, and saunas for the first 24-48 hours. After 24-48 hours, you can brush them daily, use lash extension safe products to clean and maintain them, and don’t forget to schedule your refills every 2 weeks!
Can I wear eyeliner with lash extensions?
Of course! Our lash looks are designed so that while you may not need eyeliner, our Smudge Shield Pro Eyeliner can add boldness to your perfect look. When it comes to eye makeup and extensions, it’s all about the makeup remover. Avoid oil-based makeup removers as they may compromise the extension adhesive bond. Can I swim while wearing lash extensions?
Yes! Just wait 24-48 hours before doing so. We also recommend brushing out your lashes after your swim to help them dry and remain in line.
Can I curl lash extensions?
It is not safe to curl your lash extensions at home with an eyelash curler. Our lash extension curls are designed so that you can ditch your old eyelash curler. Our Deka-certified Lash Artists consult with you to choose the best curl for your eye shape and personal style. With proper care, your lash extensions will uphold it’s shape and curl for at least 2-3 weeks.
